You may have heard lots about niching down, niche marketing, and creating specialized service offerings in your practice-- but is it right for you?
Some practitioners aren’t sure if creating a niche practice is the way to go versus being a general practitioner. And the thing is, there is nothing wrong with choosing one over the other!
There are lots of growth opportunities for practitioners who focus on being a good, qualified CPA enrolled agent who provides services to a certain population (i.e. dollar amount, type of business, etc.) and then growing their practice with cross-sales, customer service, etc.
There are also great opportunities in choosing one particular niche and becoming the king or queen of that niche.
There is no correct answer-- it all boils down to where you are at and where you want to be.
Where are you currently in your practice? Niche, or a general practitioner? I’d love to hear your thoughts and comments.
