"I didn't begin as an SEO consultant. I started my career as a travel blogger. When I launched my blog, I waited for six months for leads. At that point, I discovered SEO and realized that this was something that could bring traffic to my blogs."
Singhi then began learning SEO and all things related to SEO. This was the starting point for him.
"It's been seven years now that I'm helping many clients from around the world."
For our business, a CPA firm, Singhi takes pride in providing amazing services and helping clients in incredible ways. SEO helps bring in qualified, good quality leads, helping the business grow.
For Singhi, in his experience- including the many business owners he has worked with, SEO is the one thing that is always recommended, and has always produced results.
"If you do SEO properly, SEO pays off in the long term. With paid ads your results are gone as soon as you stop paying," says Singhi.
Singhi also speaks about the benefits of SEO and branding. "If someone is searching for a keyword and they're finding your business or your firm on the first page, this will keep your company name in their mind.
According to Singhi, SEO is important because it provides traffic, leads and branding, which is what is missing with paid ads.
According to Singhi, if you are an accounting firm at the bottom of the first page, then you are missing out on a lot of opportunities of bringing traffic, converting that traffic into leads and bringing in customers.
You may be a firm that uses SEO but are not getting the exposure you want. This means that you are doing something wrong.
"The main objective is to be in the top three search results," says Singhi.
The word SEO is a small word, but it has a lot of going on in itself.
1.Onsite SEO
Anything that is done on your own website is onsite or on-page.
2.Offsite SEO
These are backlinks. Backlinks are created when you create content and distribute it on different channels or sources. This gives you a back link pointing from their source to your website. This is called offsite SEO.
3.Technical factors
Make sure that the firm who is handling your marketing understands SEO as well as all the backend functionalities.
4.Google My Business.
On Google maps, there are different listings that can help expose your business. These are derived from Google My Business.
5.Citations
Having a Google Map Business is not enough. Maps is a search engine in itself. If you have a GMB listing, you have to do the citations. Citations involve distributing your listing on different channels.
"On page, is something that we do on our own website. For example, content that has been published on our website is the factor of on page. Factors such as image size, loading time, internal linking of web pages are all included in onsite SEO," says Singhi.
"Off page is done on another side, like a Facebook page. This is a backlink. On somebody else's websites, it's high volume and it's linking to your website-Google likes that," he adds.
1.Speed of the website is very slow.
Google is considering the loading time of a webpage as a ranking factor. 2.5 seconds or three seconds is the maximum time that is being allowed by Google.
2.Title tag.
We have meta titles and descriptions. Most title tags are incorrect. They don't have the right keywords in it as well as the wrong CTA.
3.Plagiarized Content.
People copy content from here and there and publish it on their website. Google kicks this off their results.
4.Coding
I work with many developers while I work on SEO, and the most common thing that affects the speed is coding.
One of the most important things while you are making your own line presence for your firm. Because the first thing when someone searches a query in a local area, they see the map listing. Have a GMB profile with accurate information. This helps your business get found through organic searches.
Citations are the directories where we distribute our Google My Business profile data. For example you have a GMB listing. Once you have a GMB listing, you have to make sure that the listing content is being distributed on different directories. This helps you get into the top three rankings.
The size of what a blog should be is most commonly misunderstood. in the SEO world. The truth is it depends and varies from topic to topic. It can be 800 words or can be 8,000 words, depending on the topic of the blog.
Once a week or twice a week is an average frequency of a normal business owner. According to Anmol, the main thing is consistency. "Google likes the consistency over the quantity of the blogs," he says.
Make sure your SEO is done right the first time around. If it's done incorrectly, it's hard to recover. Google gives you a penalty and once your domain is penalized, it's quite impossible to recover.
CPA Marketing Genius offers done- for-you services including web design, SEO and marketing as well as coaching services geared towards helping CPA firms and CPA firm owners grow their practice to new levels.
